Group Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and Bachata classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Private and semi-private lessons are available by appointment. We also offer customized dance lessons for birthdays, bachelorette parties and special events, creating a fun and memorable experience for groups of all sizes.

Dance Art Studio offers Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Bachata and Wedding Dance lessons in Richmond Hill for adults, teens and children. We provide private, semi-private and group instruction for social dancing, wedding dance preparation and DanceSport competition.

Founded in 2004, Dance Art Studio offers Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Bachata and Wedding Dance lessons for students of all ages throughout Richmond Hill and the Greater Toronto Area. We also organize regular social dance events, giving students opportunities to practice, build confidence and enjoy dancing with others.

We teach Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and Bachata dance styles, including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive and more for social dancing, weddings and DanceSport competition.

Founder & Dance Director Cristina Amalia Dina

Cristina Amalia Dina is one of the pioneers of Ballroom and Latin DanceSport in Romania and the Founder and Managing Director of Dance Art Studio in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Since 2004, she has helped establish Dance Art Studio as a leading ballroom, latin, salsa and wedding dance school serving Richmond Hill, Markham, Vaughan, Thornhill, North York and the Greater Toronto Area.

She is an Associate Member of the Canadian DanceSport Federation (CDF) in Ballroom and Latin divisions and a Licentiate Member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) in International Standard Ballroom and Latin American Dancing.

Cristina holds a Diploma in DanceSport Choreography from Romania and a Master of Science in Engineering. She won 1st Place at Romania's first International DanceSport Championship in Bucharest and earned a national title in all ten dances.

Throughout her career, Cristina has coached competitive dancers, choreographed award-winning formation teams, appeared in television productions and feature films, performed internationally, and taught ballroom dance on cruise ships and at corporate events.

Her specialties include Ballroom Dance Lessons, Latin Dance Lessons, Salsa Lessons, Wedding Dance Choreography, Competitive DanceSport Coaching, First Dance Wedding Preparation and Social Dancing for Adults and Youth.
